Conte denies Manchester United talks rumours

Antonio Conte has publicly denied rumours that he is in advanced talks with Manchester United. The Italian coach, who last managed Chelsea, has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs after leaving his post in Italy.

In a statement released this week, Conte clarified that he is not in any advanced negotiations with any club. He emphasised that the speculation surrounding a move to United is unfounded.

The speculation came after Manchester United announced they were looking for a new head coach following the departure of their previous manager. Conte’s experience and recent success in Serie A made him a frequent name in transfer chatter.

The potential appointment of a high‑profile manager like Conte would carry significant implications for United’s rebuilding plans and the broader Premier League landscape. As such, the club’s search has attracted widespread media attention.

For now, Conte remains focused on his current role with the Italian side, and he has not ruled out future opportunities. The search for a new manager continues, with clubs expected to make decisions in the coming weeks.
