Palace falter again as Newcastle beat them 2-0 at Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace's winless streak extends to four games after a 2-0 defeat by Newcastle United at home. The result leaves the Eagles just a point above the relegation zone and puts further pressure on manager Pierre Sage.
Newcastle United secured a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, extending the Premier League club’s winless run to four matches. The hosts were unable to find the back of the net, while the visitors managed to keep a clean sheet.
With the loss, Palace remain winless across their last four league games, a streak that has raised concerns among supporters and the club’s hierarchy.
The defeat leaves the Eagles just one point above the relegation zone, meaning a single win in the remaining fixtures will be crucial to avoid the drop.
Manager Pierre Sage is under mounting pressure as the team’s form continues to falter. The club’s board and fans alike are calling for a turnaround in performance.
Palace will now look to regroup ahead of their upcoming matches, hoping to break the losing streak and secure the points needed to climb out of the relegation battle.
